Week-to-week organising is done by the Society’s Committee, which holds weekly open meetings. The Committee is made up of elected members, each with a certain remit. These are usually Fridays 5pm in the Teviot New Amphion—please get in touch to check the exact details if you wish to attend!
Big decisions, constitutional amendments and committee elections are made by General Meeting (GM). We hold at least one GM each semester. Elections to all the committee positions are held at least once a year.
The Society aims to be a safe space for all our members, and has adopted a zero tolerance approach to discrimination, as outlined in our safe spaces policy. Please see our safe spaces page for more information.
